We fell in love with magical Patzcuaro in Michoacan, Mexico.
So in 2004 we renovated an abandoned house from which to enjoy this colonial pueblo with its Purhepecha Indian presence.

Waters of Cupatitzio
A short drive from Patzcuaro, we can enjoy the springs and pristine water of Rio Cupatitzio in the Parque Nacional Barranca del Cupatitzio, Uruapan, Michoacan, Mexico.
The "Parque Nacional" at Uruapan is really wonderful.I love the stone bridges, the enviroment and the green space that is considered by the Uruapan citizens: "A forest inside the city" and they are so proud of it.
Last Septemeber.I visited "La Tzaracua fall",It´s a very lovely place to visit.I had fun riding a beautiful horse, but I must say that I didn´t like it much. The river and the fall´s water have been polluted with drain waters. The growth of the city have created an ecological impact at "la tzararcua" that once upon a time was such a very beautiful place to stay, visit and fall in love...

Population growth does, unfortunately, affect many once pristine areas. But I still enjoy Tzaráracua...
